 Product Description:
The used Brocade FS8-18 Encryption Blade is a scalable
fabric-based
encryption which enforces data confidentiality in data centers.
The encryption processing goes up
to 96 Gbit/sec. It provides industry-standard AES-256 encryption
algorithms for both disk and tape1
on a single security platform for SAN environments. The FS8-18
includes Frame Redirection technology that enables easy,
non-intrusive deployment of fabric-based security services and
plug-in encryption services available to all heterogeneous
servers, including virtual
machines, in data center fabrics. The FS8-18 provides plug-in
encryption of data on disk or tape. It supports AES-256 and
DataFort-compatible encryption mode (16 8Gb Fibre Channel ports,
up to 4 blades. It requires DCFM management.
