The Brocade M4400 Switch is an 8-ports, Base Assembly and perfect for the entry-level SAN market. It is designed for small - medium SANs that leverage the Sun StorageTek 3000 and 6000 families. It is also an excellent edge attachment for large enterprise SANs using the Sun StorageTek 9900 series or for tape deployments with Sun L-Series tape. It is the only full-featured Fibre Channel switch available in a half-rack width configuration, providing unmatched flexibility of deployment and scalability. This 16-port, 4 Gb/sec switch addresses a range of small to mid-tier applications.
