The Brocade M1620 SAN Router,  multiprotocol storage switch, connects to IP backbones, Fibre Channel fabrics and a wide variety of end systems. The Brocade M1620 supports standard protocols, such as iSCSI, iFCP and E_Port, and can be used concurrently for business continuance, disaster recovery, storage consolidation, remote tape vaulting, content distribution, and iSCSI access to Fibre Channel storage. It is designed for midrange markets and has wire-rate performance on all ports. It connects to FC, Ethernet, iSCSI and iFCP connectivity on demand. The M1620 has Fast Write technology which maximizes throughput across long distances. It also has an E_Port for integration into existing multi-vendor fabrics.
